Prospine Inc. (formerly Shoei Koki) has been engaged in the manufacture and processing of precision machine parts in Osaki City, Miyagi Prefecture, since its founding in 1978. The mold parts and press parts processing technology cultivated since our founding, along with our commitment to pursuing precision at the 1/1000mm level, has been passed down to the present day.
In recent years, building on this precision machining technology, we have also focused on developing, manufacturing, and selling "magnetic gears," which transmit power without contact. This technology solves problems inherent in conventional transmission mechanisms, such as friction, particle generation, and maintenance burden, and represents a unique strength we have continued to refine under our philosophy of "meeting customer expectations with niche technology."
We are by no means a large company. However, we are confident that by combining our two pillars -- precision parts processing and magnet technology -- we can deliver unique value to our customers that cannot be found elsewhere. We also continue to take on new challenges, such as manufacturing and selling high-precision tripod heads for cameras.
